Make Jaguar
Model Mk II
Year 1966
Mileage 40,300
Exterior Colour Opalescent Golden Sand
Interior Colour Red

Mark 2 3.4 Saloon Automatic

Only 40,300 miles.

Finished in the original colour combination of opalescent golden sand over red leather.

Highly original example.

Manufactured on 28th June 1966  and supplied by Paul Whicher Ltd via Jaguar distributor Henleys of London on 12th July 1966 to a J.S. Coupland of London. According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate on file it was originally registered as JLJ9E which it still wears today.

The car has a service record dating back to its first service in March 1967. The original service booklet is still present and contains 19 service stamps all by the original dealer up to 1977. There is also a thick file of invoices and numerous MOTs all in line with the displayed mileage of 40,300.

A letter on file dated 2003 from a previous owner confirms that the then current mileage of 37,166 was indeed correct. He also noted in the letter that the original owner kept the car until his death in 1979 and his wife kept the car garaged until her death in 2000.

This very original example has been upgraded with the sensible upgrades including a Kenlow fan and uprated brakes.

The interior is fantastically original and thankfully appears not to have been reconolised.

Comes complete with handbooks including service booklet all in the correct pouch and the original tool kit is in the boot. They don’t come along like this very often.
