Ordered in July of 1976 and manufactured in January 1977 for UK importer Maranello Concessionaires. The original order shows that the car was ordered in Rosso Chiaro (20-R-190) with Nero (VM8500) hide with red carpets and specified with air conditioning. Supplied by Ferrari main agent Ian Anthony Sales of Knutsford, Cheshire to a gentleman from Daventry, Northamptonshire who took delivery on January 25th 1977.
A very comprehensive history file is present which includes service invoices dating back to May 1977 when the car was just a few months old. More recently in the years 2015 – 2019 the car has had extensive restoration work carried out by highly respected Ferrari restoration specialist Hoyle-Fox at considerable expense. There are invoices on file for circa £90,000 and the results speak for themselves.
