Prior to arrival here at Avantgarde this particular example was owned by the co-ordinator of the XJ section of the Jaguar Enthusiast Club. During his ownership the car was regularly featured in the JEC magazine, either on display at events, or being worked on for an article. As part of these features the car was fitted with a new wool-cloth headlining, along with other such work. Prior to his ownership the car was owned by another JEC member, actually the Technical Director and also a highly regarded Jaguar Specialist, who had taken ownership of the car from one of his customers (and fellow JEC member) that had passed away. The car has been subject of a huge amount of mechanical work which has included rebuilding the entire IRS with OEM Jaguar parts. Since our purchase we have fitted a modern electronic ignition system and distributor that looks the same as the original Lucas Opus but but offers modern levels of reliability.

A very attractive long wheelbase V12 Daimler in a gorgeous colour combination which has been the subject of a significant amount of improvement and upkeep.
