Specification includes 15-hole alloy wheels, rear seat, illuminating vanity mirrors, headlamp wash wipe, electric windows, central locking, electrically operated passenger door mirror.

Supplied new on 16th January 1989 by Portfield Mercedes Benz of Chichester to a gentleman in nearby Bognor Regis. this initial owner retained the car for a little over 10 years. There is a letter on file confirming that the car was always garaged between infrequent drives and it also notes that the car was replaced with an SLK Compressor.

The car found its next owner through Bramley Motor Cars, at which point it had covered approximately just 6,200 miles. Another owner purchased the car a few years later in March 2002, again from Bramley Motor Cars, having now covered 16,433 miles.

Two further owners continued to look after this car very carefully indeed and in 2011 the car was offered for sale by highly regarded Mercedes Benz expert Charles Ironside Ltd. At this point the car had still only covered 23,500 miles. His advert at the time described the car as ‘in near perfect condition’ and also noted a 2009 Mercedes Club concourse win at Tatton Park, The certificate for this is still on file.

Ironside very quickly found a buyer who has cherished the car for 15 years up until our recent purchase from him. Using the car mainly for Classic Car Shows and fair weather drives this Mercedes has still only covered 29,900 miles.

Unbelievably this car has almost exclusively been serviced by Mercedes main agents. Aside from one service by leading Mercedes Specialist Roger Edwards Motors in 2005 and a service at a garage in Aldershot that also applied a wax oil treatment in 2013. All of its other continuous maintenance was carried out by Mercedes Benz agents, the last of which was on 10th April 2025.

Comes complete with all original handbooks, stamped service book, tool kit, spare keys and an unopened Mercedes first aid kit. A very comprehensive history file accompanies the car with service invoices, MOT certificates, tax discs etc. Offered in a most desirable colour combination with a known ownership history and service history from new.
