Supplied new by Parkgate Garages Ltd, Peugeot main agent of Belfast on 5th January 1989 to a local owner who owned the vehicle for approximately 20 years. Clearly a fastidious owner, which shows in not only the condition, but also the history file, which contains all main dealer service invoices, along with letters of correspondence to the supplying dealership. Since then the car has had only one further registered owner who took ownership in 2009, and luckily has been a worthy custodian for the vehicle and has cared for it in a similar manner. What is also appealing is that it was supplied from new with power steering but without the troublesome vacuum operated sunroof. Comes with all original handbooks and stamped service book in the original pouch. Just had a comprehensive service at a classic car service specialist. Rarer than its 205 GTI sibling and with better handling characteristics.
